3D resin for printing “high impact” denture base

The printodent® GR-14 denture materials are 3D printing resins for the generative production of denture bases. The printodent® GR-14.2 denture material meets all dental requirements with e.g. a water absorption (< 32 μg/mm³) and water solubility (< 1.6 μg/mm³) according to ISO 20795-1:2013. In addition, the low shrinkage (approx. < 1 %) compared to traditionally used PMMA-based materials ensures a high accuracy of fit. With the newly developed printodent® GR-14.2 denture HI, a 3D printing resin with ”high-impact“ has been achieved which, in addition to its outstanding chemical/physical properties, is characterized by low viscosity. This allows building processes to be carried out efficiently and components to be cleaned easily. Both materials can be combined with the printodent® GR-17.1 temporary lt to produce cost-effective full dentures. Furthermore, validated procedures in combination with VITA VIONIC VIGO® and CANDULOR TCR * and NFC+ * are available for both materials. Full integration into exocad‘s CAD software completes the digital workflow for both materials.
